Paris Style Diaries

So I recently came back from a trip to Paris and I can safely say that it is a very stylish city and I did my best to try and fit in.

It was such an amazing trip and even though I was only there for 3 days, I truly fell in love with the place and the culture there which is surprisingly different to that of London.

Of course while I was there I had to photograph my outfits in front of a variety of famous landmarks to share with you all.

The people you see in Paris are so different to that of London which is the only other major city I’ve been to. Everyone just looks so effortlessly stylish, like they could not even try and still look great, I have no idea how and I envy them. I feel like there is that stereotype that they are all thin and fashionable and wear red lipstick and I can tell you that that is mostly true. Following this stereotype I tried my best to fit in.

Day 1 and 3:

1

Because I only went for a few days I only had a very small bag and therefore it made sense to only bring 2 outfits. I knew that it would be warm so for the first outfit I went for a cute lil floaty dress, simple but effective. I like to call this my Alice in Wonderland dress and I actually picked it up in the charity shop. For shoes I bought some cheap Primark pumps before the trip because I knew that we would be walking around a lot and we really really did. We walked like 9 miles each day so I knew that I would need comfortable shoes and these were great.

It was actually so warm hence the sweaty face and frizzy hair which I just threw in a bun for ease.

Day 2:

This is by far my fave outfit everrrrrr! This jumpsuit is the best purchase that I have ever made and of course I had to bring it because where better to where it than Paris. If I would wear this where I live then I would get some weird looks but surprisingly I got none in Paris and for once it was nice to not get weird looks because of what I wear.

Stripy jumpsuits are all the rage at the moment and I saw my fair share of them in the city so I fitted right in. This is from New Look but I’ve seen rainbow clothing all over at the moment and I am truly living for it. Again I am wearing the same shoes and this shirt is just a mens one from a secondhand shop.
